Maricopa Community Theatre began its youth programs in 2010 with a summer teen and children’s theatre summer camp. In 2016 we rebranded into Maricopa Community Youth Theatre!

Our Youth Theatre features ages 8-18. Participants of will learn stage presence and movement, voice projection, interpretation of characters along with all other aspects involved in the production of a play. All participants will have a part in the shows. We hold auditions in a warm, judgment-free, open environment and cast on skill and talent. Then we enter rehearsals where you will learn what it takes to put on a show, from learning music, dances, lines, blocking, and most of all HAVING FUN! So we invite you to come have fun and learn about how an actor prepares for the stage or the big screen! We hope to welcome you to our program soon and hope you will come and learn how to “Act Out” with us!
